Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. As a child, she was inspired by Boleros, classical music and the more traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana loves Tangos. Also, she loves operas, and every form of drama. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous training in singing at 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara and then in Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. While a student, and being a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles and choruses. After 2000, she emigrated into the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007, she settled in her current home in Southern California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. Her love and passion in music, art and performing keep her engaged with many local organizations as a teacher and performer. Ana was also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire other people to follow in her footsteps.
