Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international advancements into Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) was awarded an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached No. 8. The following year, he joined forces with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the Top Latin Albums chart. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina the next year. Later in 2021 he performed an duet with TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was born into a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father are musicians. In his interviews, he's described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. He learned how to play the guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was when he was a child. The first choice for his career was to be a veterinarian, but his brother Julian persuaded him to learn singing with an instructor from a Cuban teacher. The end result was that he realized his talent for singing and changed the course his life.
